Over time, the bike has gotten harder to start, mostly in the morning. This issue is it's now not firing up on the first press of the starter button sometimes. 2021 R1250RT XM WORTHLESS - reception issues. So I went ahead and spent the extra $500+ to get the Alpine radio module for my RT to have XM as an option for music. However the RECEPTION IS HORRIBLE - I get 2-3 seconds of music followed by 15 seconds or more of silence as it loses signal CONSTANTLY. Considering that they gave a $ 500 credit off MSRP that, I guess, is a pretty good deal. It will have a different part # than the $ 2600.00 light. There is no memo out there yet. He brought this up in a conversation about what does BMW need to do to help move these bikes. BMW had a problem with some mirros on 2021 and 2022 RT models. I'm going to try the " turn on bike (engine not running) and turn the throttle slowly from idle to wide open three times" as folks have suggested this resets something and gets rid of the vibration, at least temporarily. There are a plethora of top case options for the 1250RT, I take a look at one.Thank you SW-MOTECH The older 1150 RT had a water pump issue around 50k mi but the 1200 and the 1250 haven't really had any consistent issues. On top of that, the rt is one of the most popular bikes bmw makes. R1200RT (2007) bought last year with 24000, came with issues from neglect. Fixed, just turned 34000 in a year. I have seen posts on problems with the BMW app and with vibrations and heat damaging some phones, but no list of phones which work well with the R1250RT.
